“ Food was great! Got the chicken katsu, portions are definitely designed for sharing. They have a smaller menu, but the dishes are very high quality. ”
“ Love this place it a nice little restaurant place. Went here with friend we order a lot of food and it was all amazing. The pork katsu was huge and delicious, but in the sweet side. The ribs was amazing just the right amount of flavor. The beef belly and everything else was just wonderful. The staff was nice and friendly. The atmosphere was nice vibe. Army ramen was nice but a bit spicy. ”
“ Food was so good! I went with two other people and three dishes was way more than we could even finish. Waiter was so nice and attentive. And the food was juicy and hot. I was half expecting the giant katsu to be dry but the whole thing was cooked really well with no dry or patchy parts not cooked well. The whole thing tasted so good and it comes with scissors to cut it. Somehow went on a not so busy night but apparently its usually a long wait/crowded even on week days. Overall would recommend! ”
“ I was really between 4 or 5 stars, but I decided to give Dawa the benefit of the doubt for now because overall, we had a great meal. The reason is that our katsu was dry. Yes, it is huge, but I think it’s because they pound the living daylight out of it. Our katsu was flat, which is why I think it was over cooked. Everyone else in this review section seems to like it though, so what do I know. Everything else was really good. The star of the show for me was the Mac and Corn Cheese. God, that was absolutely delicious - warm, gooey, and savory. I also really liked the scallion pancake with bulgogi. Crispy and yummy - done very well. It could do without the dipping sauce on the side. Japchae was also very good. I liked everything we ordered more than the katsu. But I also feel like your signature dish should be... better. I do plan on coming back to see if I have the same issue with the katsu. Service was good. We had a reservation and were seated timely. Food came out pretty fast. Seating area is casual. The restaurant is kinda small, so maybe that’s why the wait can get a bit long. But you can totally just make a reservation on Yelp. ”
“ The price was quite reasonable considering how much food we ordered. The chicken katsu was super crispy and generously sized. The corn and cheese was delicious, and the bulgogi was pretty good too! The chicken was a bit different from what I expected, but still really tasty. ”
“ Great Korean food and great prices! Garlic Su Yuk (pork belly sous vide) and the Curry Tonkatsu with a side of katsu sauce was my favorite! ”
“ Great Korean restaurant with huge portions of your favorite dishes. This place can get rlly busy during peak meal times so expect a wait for weekend dinners and such. The price per entre can be a lot but they also give huge portions so it makes up for it. Overall pretty authentic tasting with the basic sides included. Beer soup: Get I got it with glass noodles and it's such a wonderfully warming soup. it's well balanced with savory beef flavors and you'll likely add salt and pepper to taste. It's a straight forward dish that's yummy but I'm not sure if it's worth 17 Chicken Katsu: Get A ginormous slab of chicken...this thing feed two. However I wish there was more curry to portion with the rice. It's great but not the best curry or katsu I've had Food: 8/10 Service: 9/10 Atmosphere: 8/10 Value: 7/10 ”
“ No lie, the best Katsu Pork w/ curry and rice I've ever had. Served on a hot stone. And with kimchi, pickles, macaroni salad, and pickled daikon. This was a feast fit for 2 people easy. My belly is very happy. ”
